Josias loved Easter this year! He was so excited to dress in his new Sunday clothes and was saying his Cubbie verse for Easter “He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures”. Watching him learn about Christ and take it to heart is beautiful. IMG_0937

E is a delight. He however did not want to wear his tie (cue sad faces from mommy). He enjoyed Easter and has been doing really well with understanding some of the story from Sunday School and us talking with Josias.

Josias loves having his picture taken and then wants to look at it. We had fun and played with the flash this last week.

E is growing up, he also likes to look at himself. I liked how the flash caught the beauty of his eyes. Oh, and I love how he says “eese”IMG_0908 IMG_0911

These two are a bundle of fun and trouble, I enjoy watching them become better friends. They are also always moving now on new adventures, I think this was dinosaur time.IMG_0927

Josias enjoyed a special time with Oma and his Miller cousins at Tempe Center for the Arts to see Good Night Moon. He loved it and took a very long afternoon nap!
20160311_151948E is a delight to be around right now. He loves talking and telling you about everything he sees and wants to do. I have enjoyed being able to spend special time with him on Wednesday when Oma does preschool with Josias. E loved the ducks, even though they almost tried to bite his feet off. He also discovered he likes iced coffee!

Josias had his first time playing frisbee golf with friends from church. It may take a little while for him to get how to properly throw a frisbee, but he loved it.

E liked hanging out at the park next to the frisbee golf course. E is goofy and the next day was running around in his straw hat from Easter. He also is getting really good at “cheese” with a silly smile. IMG_0842 IMG_0832

Josias, such a helper. This week he helped Joe with yard work and then later helped me mow the lawn. He helps Joe so much he knew how to start the lawn mower unlike his Mommy! He is also helpful with bagging groceries in the self checkout line. We are so grateful for his servant heart.

IMG_0806Sunflare Joe included to show how much Josias loves helping his daddy.IMG_0803

E is just a ray of sunshine. He loves hanging out with big brother and daddy. I wish he would stay 2 forever some days. IMG_0795 IMG_0814

A closing picture of the boys being well… boys!IMG_0794

Josias is doing so well as older brother. He plays with his little brother and is constantly helping me with E. For pre-school this week he did “Caps for Sale”. He loved it so much and has been selling caps since then.IMG_0778E is a loving little brother, he looks up to Josias and always wants to play with the same toys. He is still learning to share, but is starting to understand. We also discovered he looks a lot like his Uncle Paul at this age. We were watching old home videos from Joe’s childhood and E is a ringer for his Uncle. IMG_0777

It was a really rough week with Daddy working long hours. On Thursday, Daddy came home for 30 minutes to cuddle and hang out with the boys. E was in tears when Daddy went back to work, but we survived the week!IMG_0785 IMG_0789

zoo & hats

I love Saturdays where we are able to go to the zoo. The boys have so much fun with Daddy and Mommy. Both boys wanted to wear hats and that is great with this mommy. IMG_0697 E is growing up so much. I love that his baseball cap is usually slightly crooked. It reminds me of the little rascals. When he was little, he had a curl that stuck up just like Alfalfa. Now his hat is askew. IMG_0699 Josias is into newsies caps right now. He looks quite handsome. IMG_0705 Just had to include the picture with Joe in his newsie cap to match Josias.IMG_0707

Josias likes reading. The other morning I came into their room and found both of them reading books. While I have been a little upset with Josias for waking up his brother early in the morning, them reading made up for the early rise of E.

The hardest part about trying to take pictures with my nice camera is I miss the perfect moment. E was in the corner of his crib reading and surrounded by books. Unfortunately, by the time I got my camera he was up and not into posing for the camera. IMG_0715

Josias is a cubby! He loves it and looks forward to Wednesday late afternoon every week. He loves memorizing God’s word and loves telling Elisha his verses.IMG_0696My little firefighter is growing up to fast. He loves learning brother’s verses. He now know “All have sinned” and “mighty in power”. IMG_0695Both the boys love reading the Action Bible with Daddy at night. I added the last picture to show what most of my photos look like and the fact that I have a photo bomber. (ahem, E)

Josias is such a big boy, he loves going down the biggest slide at the park and wanted me to push him faster on the swing. I am so glad that he is not quite as cautious as he was in the past.

IMG_0659IMG_0673IMG_0685E what can I say?!? This little boy continues to keep me on my toes. He loves exploring and scared me by trying out the climbing bar stairs! I love his adventurousness and am trying to relax with his zeal for the dangerous.

This past week was tough, both boys had pink eye and we were stuck inside until Thursday afternoon when the boys cleared up. Little kids and mommies were not meant to stay house bound for multiple days. We go crazy.
