week 17 of 52

Celebrating 2 years of this adorable boy at Oma & Opa’s house. He could care less about the candles, just wanted the spatula.

This is a picture of babyE. He loves to move around in the crib. Prior to the bumper, his whole leg up to the hip bone would get through the slats. Now it is just his arm.

Heller family day

A few weeks ago we had an extended Heller family day. My typically cautious boy climbed up all by himself into the trampoline to play with the big kids.

Later he went with his daddy.

BabyJ treated Tigger to a ride on the trike.

Lastly, the big boys needed to see how much force it took to over turn the swing set. This was caught minutes before the swing set almost capsized. Oh, I am in for trouble once the littles follow in daddy and uncle Ben’s steps.

week 15 of 52

BabyJ got spoiled this past weekend by both sets of great grandparents in Tennessee. His Grandpa and Granny treated him to doughnuts from a local shop, Ralphs.

I can’t get over BabyE’s eyelashes. They curl so perfectly.

2 months

This is very late considering this boy is going to be 3 months in a few days.

His stats: 13 lbs 8 oz. , 24.5 in. and 15.75 in head circumference

(this puts him 11 oz. ahead of BabyJ at this time!)

While Joe and I were snapping pictures, BabyJ photo bombed. Good natured BabyE didn’t complain even when big brother took his blankie.

new do

So, I was tired of the same old hair since college. Being the mom of two boys, I felt it was time for change. I am excited about the new hair (it will still be curly after this, the stylist just straightened for the cut & coloring). BabyJ’s initial response was confusion and then indifference.  When I came through the garage door, he heard my voice and was very excited for mummy to be back. When I actually entered the room, he just stared at me with confusion, wondering where his mummy was. Then he just turned back to Oma and ignored that strange woman. Joe loves it and I love it.
