It was a great weekend for J, on his last soccer game of the season, he scored a goal! He let out a great roar/scream upon scoring. The first thing J asked me was when did he get his big ice cream. Joe had promised the boys “big” ice cream if they scored a goal. That night after dinner Joe treated them to an ice cream cone and play time at “Donald land” (McDonald’s).
E celebrated his final week of soccer with dinner at Peter Piper Pizza with his team, Joe and big brother. He had a huge fan from his team who followed him around and E loved the attention. In his last soccer game, E assisted his teammates in scoring a goal. If you asked him, he said he scored at least one goal.
Joy was the opposite of her oldest brother. She woke up with a 102 temperature on Thursday morning and continued with a fever until Saturday. It was really hard to watch her suffer. She only wanted to be held and suck on her pacifier. This caused a halt to school and most activities for everyone else. I didn’t get much done and was constantly tired. When Joe got home, he took turns with me holding her. Sunday morning, Joy played with her brothers puzzles, listened to 2 sermons with me and returned books to the library. She was overjoyed when she woke up from her nap and discovered her brothers back home!
