The boys love Calvin & Hobbes. I got them books from a big book sale over the weekend and they are devouring them.
It was a family love day for Valentine’s day. Joe and I continued with our tradition of making chicken piccata, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The kids made hearts with their food. It was a happy heart day.
This year, the boys started reading their science book out loud to me. It is wonderful to listen to them and learn how to say hard words and help each other.
We try to have a family movie night once a week. We used to rotate the pick and then realized, we watched a lot of the same movies. Joe and I took over and introduced the kids to some beloved favorites.
Sometimes I get frustrated with them all on the same row, but most of the time it is filled with sweet conversations or sharing food!
Someone figured out the monkey bars and is on a roll.
It takes everyone to figure out how to Bluetooth connect Luigi and Mario.
The boys had their first basketball games today. J was up first at 8am! He had missed his practice and came in cold only having a few PE days of basketball. He did great, getting the ball multiple times and running it down. He even made two baskets!
E was super excited and started his game right after J. He has never played and only made one practice. He was super enthusiastic and got the ball a few times.
