week 23 of 52

J was very excited for his first meet, freestyle. He got in 8th for individual and made the relay as A3 and they got 2nd. I am so proud of him for trying something, even though he may not be the fastest.

E’s first swim meet was great! He did amazing and got 7th place for individual and made the relays as B3 and they got 2nd.

Joy wanted to bless you all with this cute picture of herself, showing you a cute, little strawberry. Joy enjoyed her first swim meet, by playing with her cousin and eating lots of snack food.

week 22 of 52

J started building his lego set! It was happiness at first sight. J also had his first swim team practices. It went very well and he loves swimming.

E was excited to build Legos. However his first week of swim team was rough. The first day he got out of the water after swimming a few laps. I didn’t prepare him well for swimming for an hour. He had a hard time breathing. Next day was progress, he stayed in the pool, but didn’t swim all the laps as panic set in and breathing became difficult. The last day of the week, he was asking to go to swim team practice!

Joy is my little fish. She loves her swimming class with two girls around her age. She likes the treasure hunt and gets the maximum amount of toys allowed and loves putting her head under the water.

week 21 of 52

We are all done with school!!!! J did great and was so happy to be on summer break. We made friends this week in the greenbelt park. J is so friendly and was immediately playing a big game of hide and seek.

E keeps losing teeth and literally losing them. He lost is top tooth while eating a bean burrito and couldn’t find it.

update: I found E’s tooth 3 days later when I saw what looked like a small popcorn kernel on the floor. I picked it up to discover E’s tooth!

Joy posed for me. She still has the mess of yogurt on her face, but I love her so.

A little blurry, but this was Awana’s 2020-2021!!! The kids did so well at a new church this year, making friends with students and leaders.

J did amazing at Awana’s. He memorized four extra verses every week to earn gold. We found out at the award ceremony that he was the only kid in T&T to finish gold. Dadda did give him huge incentive of a big lego set.

We need to work with the boys, they ran across the stage and never looked at us. E was crazy, he completed his book and extra credit book by Christmas. He did an extra, extra credit book to keep him busy.

Joy was magical, she spread joy to her entire class and made so many new friends. She was great at completing a verse or two every week.

week 19 of 52

It is spring piano recital time! Josias did so well playing Wild Rider. He is improving weekly on his piano and worked well on his performance.

E played two pieces at his piano recital, Minuet in F Major and Sonatina in G Major. He did great on both his pieces and is my little performer.

The boys with their teacher, Miss Julie

Awana’s theme night was favorite Bible hero. Joy chose Mary as she loves babies and really liked having baby Jesus in tow. She was so cute and continued to play Mary for many days afterwards.
